Allison & Chris' Wedding

Allison & Chris married at Prestwold Hall in Loughborough, a grand building & location with beautiful flower gardens making for some great shots. Chris' family all came down from Newcastle and the day's events included an impromptu footie match, bridesmaids & girls versus pretty much anyone who wanted to join in!

The girls proved they were a force to be reckoned with, hammering the boys who by this time may have had a beer to many to concentrate on their footie skills! View a few of my favs pics below.

Rowena & Mathew

Rowena & Mathew chose the perfect venue for their 'Secret Garden' themed wedding, the amazing setting at Holme Pierrepont Hall.

The attention to detail was just astonishing and the weather held out nicely for all the guests to enjoy the reception tea party and the garden games in the sunshine.

I'm really pleased with the all the shots but particularly the Bride & Groom Portraits, the gardens at Holme Peirrepont are simply spectacular and great for pictures! Having been over there a week or two before the big day for a pre wedding shoot with Rowena & Matt, this really made it easier and quicker on the day for achieving the desired shots.

Ophelia & Steve
Ophelia & Steve

Ophelia & Steve married at the impressive Breedon on the Hill Church and despite inclement weather for most of the day, we were blessed with a constant bright diffused light, making exposures real easy to deal with.

Steve & Ophelia are good friends of mine and I'm really pleased to have had the pleasure of producing some great memories of their fantastic day for them.

By the time we had got to the reception at Staunton Harold Hall it had stopped raining! Yey! Allowing us to take advantage of it's amazing grounds and gardens. Steve & Ophelia were just fantastic to work with and I shot a great mix of relaxed, fun, arty and classic looking shots over the course of the day.

Have a look at a few of my favorites posted below! Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hinds!!

Jane & Lee's Wedding

Jane & Lee married at the beautiful Tutbury Church with it's vast impressive interior and the huge Norman door on it's West front made for a lovely backlit shot as Jane and Lee came out ofter the ceremony.

Reception was at The Waterfront at Barton Marina, a tricky but interesting venue to work at, which gave me some different and interesting backdrops to work with. We were lucky enough to get access to the boat yard in the Marina which really paid off, rewarding us with some lovely shots amongst the house boats.

My favorite spot at the Marina has to be the row of ornate lamps which line the promenade of shops (see the last few shots below). I've created a de saturated Victorian picture card effect on these few shots which I think really sets off the scene and gives it a fantastic feel and finish.

Top marks for Jane & Lee who were fantastic all day and made the most of the photographic opportunities around us!
